Fabricated using state of the art 3D technologies, Grigg's digitally designs his ceramic vessels and decals. This large, flat platter is perfect for displaying an array of objects. Measures 21 1/4" x 10" x 1".


Lea McCormick Griggs (born November 28, 1988) is a studio craftsman and artist. Griggs was born and raised on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. He began his artistic career at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts Winston Salem and furthered his education at the Kansas City Art Institute. Graduating as a double major in 2011 with emphasis in his studio practice and art history his education focused on woodworking, ceramics, glass, new technologies, and craft theory. Awards and exhibitions include; NCECA Third Place Overall National Student Juried Exhibition at the Undergraduate level, Cups of Fire – National Ceramic Cup Competition at the Clay Gallery, Ann Arbor Michigan, a Kansas City Art Institute McKeown Special Project Grant, and a William R. Kenan, Jr. Fellowship at Penland School of Crafts, Penland NC. Lea Griggs is currently employed at Hufft Projects, a design build architecture firm, and continues to pursue his artistic practice in Kansas City as a Foundation Resident at Red Star Studios.
